Koh Samui, Thailand daily weather update; 14th February, 2013

Today's weather;

It looks a lot more stable this morning around Koh Samui, compared to yesterday , an almost perfect blue sky is shaping. Current temp at 7am is 25.9C

Later this afternoon I will for Indonesia with a night's stop over in Dengkil (Kuala Lumpur), Malaysia. Back on the 26th February, early in the morning aiming for the afternoon ferry to Koh Phangan. You guessed it, two PADI IDC's back to back!

Central festival in Chaweng, under construction

A view on the construction site for Central Festival in Chaweng, just another two years to go!

Yesterday morning saw a real mixed bag with a combination of rain, sunshine and clouds swapping places all the time, the afternoon was a lot nicer with a lot more of blue in the sky and the sun coming out. Max temp reached 29.6C

The forecast predicts some wind and rain over the weekend with the rest of the next 7 days to be fine.

Hi Richard,

Central Festival is a big shopping mall complex, something I quite honestly didn't expect to be build on Samui. There are various Central outlets in Bangkok but also in Pattaya and Phuket for instance.

Surely they don't need a mall like that on a small island. They have big c and tesco lotus already which look out of place on the island

Big C and Tesco Lotus don't look out of place at all, if you live here you will appreciate them, the local people are very happy with them as well!
I'm surprised that a Central Festival will be build here but I'm also very happy and excited about it!
