Today's weather;
It's wet and grey on Koh Samui this morning. It rained all night and all morning so far. Current temp at 7am is just 24C
Plants behind our house get battered and soaked by the rain
Yesterday Samui saw 100mm of rain come down on the island. Most of the day it rained although there were a few dry moments. Plenty of flooded roads around the island but no major damage. Max temp reached 27.8C
The forecast shows more rain today but tomorrow should be dry again, the strong wind should be over come Friday.
The South of Thailand is being hammered with rain though and floods are occurring in various provinces. Phattalung is declared a disaster zone. Check this blog post for some flood pictures of Southern provinces.
The death toll on Thailand roads keeps going up as well, 241 are counted as of yesterday. Another 3 days of road madness and carnage to go.
