17th February, 2008

Today's weather;

It's partly cloudy but the sun's out. It also seems that the wind receded a little bit. Current temp at 7 am is 26.9C.

Yesterday was another warm and dry day. Max temp reached 28.8C.

Today I'm leaving for Pattaya until Friday. In Pattaya we are going to dive some wrecks, so keep eyes tuned in to my weather blog, I may find time to shows some Pattaya stuff on here and have a peek into my dive blog.

hi camille,

my wife and i have been reading your weather blog for a few weeks now, and just wanted to say how good we think it is.

we are coming over to samui on the 1st march from the uk. we have been to thailand a couple of times before, staying in phuket and pee pee.

the weather seems very unsettled at the moment. is it always like this in samui?

also if you have time would you recomend any must see or must do while we are visiting samui.

i am a padi aowd and have enjoyed diving a few times in thailand although i do not enjoy my time on boats.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the thumbs up. It's good to see that people are actually reading my ramblings!

It's rather typical weather for the season I figure, it doesn't rain a lot, it's rather nice and not too hot. March should see an increase in nice weather.

There are plenty of things to do, some are listed on my blog, plenty of others are out there, Butterfly Garden and Aquarium (next to each other) amongst others, have a look whilst you're here, there are plenty of folks offering various outings.

Hope you enjoy your time on Samui.

Cheers,
Camille
